Back Care and Energy Benefits of Passive Exerciser Confirmed by Health Professionals

Trials of the Surge of Chi Exerciser by 145 health professionals and yoga teachers have confirmed that it relieves back, neck & shoulder tension, increases general mobility, reduces stress and boosts energy levels.

Energy for Health are delighted with the findings of the trials, carried out in 2005. "The backcare benefits of regularly using the Surge of Chi Exerciser have been reinforced by these trial results", said Richard Millard, Managing Director.

The beauty of the Surge of Chi is that it can be personalised to suit individual needs. Running speeds can be adjusted precisely, allowing users to find a speed that resonates with their own body and sensibility. People with sensitivities in the back, shoulders or neck area that wish to enjoy the tension-releasing benefits can do so at the very gentle starting speed without stress or strain. They can then experiment with faster speeds as their body becomes used to the new-found flexibility. Most eventually find it best to use a range of speeds to give their body maximum benefit.

The trials report revealed that as well as general improvements in energy, tension, back pain and sleep, participants reported specific benefits such as improvement in skin health, breathing quality, improved mental clarity and focus.

A full report of the Practitioner Trials was published in Positive Health magazine, July 2006 issue and can be viewed here >>> Positive Health Trials. A Summary of the report is also available here.

Following this 1st Phase of Trials, a 2nd Phase is now ongoing, focused on use by selected clients of the participating Practitioners. For details click here.
